  • What is permanent jewelry?
    Permanent jewelry is a bracelet, anklet, or necklace that is custom fitted and welded closed so there is no clasp.
  • What types of jewelry can I get?
    Bracelets are the most common for permanent jewelry but Lucky Gold also offers anklets, necklaces, and rings.
  • Do you do necklaces?
    Yes, permanent necklaces are a great way to never deal with a pesky clasp again. They are priced per inch and depend on the style and length.
  • Do you do rings?
    Rings are offered at the studio but they may still slide on and off your finger. Any chain can be made into a ring and make great stacking pieces.
  • How long does it take?
    The longest part of the appointment is trying on the different chain styles and choosing which one you like best. The actual fitting and welding takes only a few minutes. On average an appointment takes 10-15 minutes per person.
  • Does it hurt?
    The welding does not hurt at all.
  • How much does it cost?
    Sterling silver bracelets are $75 and 14k yellow, rose, and white gold bracelets range from $110 to $140 depending on the style.
  • Can I take it off?
    Permanent jewelry can be removed by using scissors or nail clippers to cut at the connection point. It can always be welded back on.
  • What if I have to get a MRI?
    In most instances you will need to remove the bracelet for an MRI, don’t worry though you can always come back in to get it put back on.
  • What happens if it breaks?
    While permanent jewelry is durable and can last years, it’s not invincible, if it does happen to break it can be repaired for no fee.
  • Can I switch which wrist I got it on?
    We can always switch the wrist (or ankle) if it’s not working out on the initial wrist you chose. Just schedule a free resize appointment.
  • What if I get tired of it?
    If you decide you need a break from your permanent piece we can always put a clasp on it.
  • What if it tarnishes?
    We do our best to source only the highest quality metals and do not anticipate any tarnishing. If you do notice the piece isn’t looking great, come in for a cleaning, at that time if there is an issue with the chain we will replace it.
  • Can I add charms on?
    Yes! It’s never too late to add a charm on.
  • How long will it last?
    Permanent jewelry’s lifespan has many factors including lifestyle, care, and fit. If taken care of properly, with minimal snags, and a good fit, it can last up to 10 years.
  • What kind of metals do you offer?
    We are proud to offer the widest selection of chain styles in Sacramento which include sterling silver, gold filled, and solid 14k yellow, white, and rose gold.

  • How do I book an appointment?

  • What is the deposit for?
    The deposit reserves your appointment, it will be deducted from your total at checkout.
  • Do I get the deposit back?
    Yes, the $25 deposit is deducted at checkout from your total.
  • What payment methods do you take?
    We accept all major credit/debit cards, touchless pay, and cash. There is a 10% discount for cash payments.
  • How many people can I bring?
    We can accommodate up to 10 people in our studio. If you have more than 10 people we also do private parties.
  • Do you offer gift cards?
    Physical gift cards are available for purchase in the studio.
  • Do you do private parties?
    Permanent jewelry is the perfect addition to any special event, to inquire about having Lucky Gold at your event please text (916) 394-6596 with your event day/time, how many attendees are interested in jewelry, and where the event will be held.
  • Is there an age requirement?
    There is no age requirement but it is suggested for very small children that their parents be present.
  • What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
    Use the link in the confirmation email to reschedule your appointment. If it’s less than 24 hours before your appointment you will need to send us a text to reschedule (916) 394-6596
  • Why isn’t anyone answering my call?
    Due to high call volume, and to be able to offer the best possible experience to our clients during their appointments, we currently do not accept phone calls. Please direct all questions or concerns via text to (916) 394-6596.
  • What is the best way to get a hold of you?

  • Is there parking?
    There is free street parking available.
  • I want to add someone to the appointment at the last minute, is that okay?
    Yes, adding one person to your appointment time is okay.
  • What if I need to cancel?
    Life happens, we do our best to accommodate cancellations. Send us a text (916) 394-6596 to let us know you wont be able to make it. We can always reschedule and transfer the deposit to your new appointment but there are no refunds on deposits if you choose to forfeit your appointment.
  • What are your prices?
    We offer standard pricing in an effort to be more inclusive, and do not do per inch for bracelets or anklets. Prices for bracelets are $50 for gold filled, $75 for sterling silver, and $110 for solid 14k gold. Anklet prices are $75 for gold filled, $100 for sterling silver, and $150 for solid 14k gold.
